I had an opportunity to visit Cypress Hills in winter. This unique park straddling the Alberta/Saskatchewan border rises like an island from the sea of prairie surrounding it.
It's beautiful: a quiet, magical oasis shrouded with snow. Fresh powder — and nearly non-existent lift lineups — made for a memorable day at Hidden Valley Ski Resort.
